"SHARE THE GIFT" Christmas Event

Help Matt King Photography raise money for Confidential Care for Women!!

Matt King Photography’s next big event, Share the Gift, is coming up November 5th, 6th, and 7th at the studio of Matt King Photography in Downtown Munford, Tn. Matt King will be photographing individual children ages 0yrs-12yrs. Each child will receive a complimentary 5x7 for their donation of $20.00 to Confidential Care for Women (Formerly known as Heart to Heart).

“My goal is to raise $5000.00 for Confidential Care for Women. I believe Confidential Care for Women is on the front line of this up and coming culture war against abortion and it is an organization that needs our support.”

Today I got to photograph Rylee in her tutu. The Crape Myrtles make a beautiful background and Rylee did a great job taking pictures. These are some of my favorites...

Maggie is Growing Up!

This will be the third time we have photographed Maggie. She always manages to end up on our publications and business cards. She has a very bubbly personality and it shows in her pictures. Here are some of the pictures from each of her sittings.

The Crape Myrtle's are Blooming!!

We have had many people ask us about the red flowers in the backgroud of this photo. These Crape Myrtle trees are blooming beautifully so now would be the perfect time to take advantage of them. We have some 6:00pm appointments available this week and next week if you would like to get in. They only bloom for a couple of weeks so call now.

Back from Vacation!

We have been off for the past two weeks enjoying a little break from the real world. We were so bummed that Vacation was over but I can not think of a better way to start back than to photograph Aubrie Rose. She was so cooperative not to mention adorable. Sittings like this one make me love my job!

The Praytor Family!

Today we photographed the Praytor family from Alabama. This is our third time photographing them. We took their daughter Maggie's picture when she was a baby and a toddler. She always has such a beautiful expression on her face. We use her photos a lot on business cards and publications.

I HAVE TO TAKE THIS CRAZY GAL FISHIN'?

Danielle has been an intern with me for the last year or so.

She has just graduated from Millington High, so we shot some senior photos for her.

Danielle and Catherine(Danielle's partner in crime) have been bugging me to take them fishin' because sometimes myself and doc(he is a friend of theirs...was an intern) go fishin' together when were bored...so now i have got to take these two crazy gals fishin' ... I'm scared : /... I may need Doc's help to bait hooks and take off the fish...lol

We have been taking Ryder's pictures since he was four months old.  It is always a joy to watch a child grow in their first year of life.  Ryder has always been such a sweet baby and very easy to photograph.

Kid-Adorable

Our Kid-Adorable event will be starting tomorrow at 8:00 am and continue Monday and Tuesday of next week.  We are still taking appointments and also accepting walk-ins (people with appointments will be taken first).  This event will be at Racine's in Munford.  For a $20 donation to Confidential Care for Women you will receive a 5x7 print.  Many of you have been asking about the background. Today as we were setting up we took a test shot of Canaan so everybody can get a sneak-peak of the background (props will vary depending upon age).  We are very excited about this event and hope to raise money for this wonderful cause.

Today we photographed Cheryl's daughter Courtney.  Cheryl is our realtor and a good friend.  She helped us buy our first home and is a great real estate agent.  Her daughter Courtney wanted more "urban looking" photos which are a lot of fun to shoot.  I enjoyed getting to shoot away from my usual location and try something new.

Rain Rain....Go Away

We are so happy that we did not get rained out today.  Not long after we finished photographing Jada it started pouring.  So glad we did not miss the opportunity to capture these beautiful shots of sweet Jada!
